Assist the facilitators of the class. During the conference must be knowledgeable of the entire campus. Able to give directions to conference delegates, assist all facilitators with handouts, and record sessions. Arrive in assigned classroom 30 minutes prior to class session, test all equipment to ensure it is properly working. Work directly with class Facilitator’s assistant/Adjutant if necessary to ensure Facilitator has all required tools. Make sure room is left decently and in order for the next session.
Monitor campus and hallways at all times; must know lay out of campus and knowledgeable of event schedule.
Develops and sets up the décor for the event. Will ensure all conference locations are properly decorated.
Ensures all areas of conference location are set up for appropriate session; and ensures the Conference location is left decently and in order after all sessions/services. Help with closure-equipment/material removal clean-up.
Ensures that every person entering the conference is greeted and; that visitors are offered assistance so that everyone feels welcomed.
Offers exceptional customer service to all delegates; ensures that all who attends the conference have an extremely pleasant experience. Must be knowledgeable of the PMWC schedule, local eateries, and activities and have a pleasant personality. This team will provide coverage at Conference venue and the contracted hotels.
Handles all medical situations; Preference is for individuals to be certified medical professionals and First Air certified. This team is needed to be staffed during the entire Conference.
Serves our guests, attendees and speakers; these individuals should have welcoming and pleasant personalities.
During the Conference the volunteers will assist the Conference Overseer with the following: Inform participants of their assigned seating arrangements, monitor flow of worship service and be prepared to assist where necessary, Any duties assigned by the Office of Protocol
Serves and leads a team who assists with the seating of our Tiers of Leadership, Guest Speakers, Sponsors & Division Hosts in their respective conference.
Responsibilities include securing interpreters for the national conferences, organize training and on-going support for church interpreters, to act as a liaison connecting the deaf with other “hearing” leaders and members, bring an awareness and create a sensitivity of the disability to the body of the fellowships
Serves and leads a team who attend to the ministerial needs of Tiers of Leadership, VIPs, Division Hosts and Guest Speakers.
